Contest!

The most popular question I get asked when I'm on tour...and actually via email, too is what is my favorite part of "The Questory".

That is such a hard question! There are so many bits that I really do cherish. One of them is the concept of the Simp. I was so happy when 'she' came to me because it was just such an interesting way to tie in all the mystery.  I also have to say that I love the Hovers.  I just can't even imagine a better way to get around DréAmm. There are some poignant scenes that I'm fond of  as well, like when Dwyn wraps his braid around Hana, making her and the Valadors his family now. I really liked that part.

So, there are a few of my favorites and now I would love to hear from you! What are your favorite parts of the book? Is it the Black Hills with the Keepers? Or the auction scene? Or maybe just a particular moment. One girl wrote to me and told me her favorite part was when Root finally got to have her very first bath. I thought that was cool.

When I'm on tour I give away lots of prizes and by far the most popular is the Valador Dogtag. So, to make this even more fun, I will give away a dogtag to one lucky winner who writes a comment here telling us all what his or her favorite part of "The Questory" was. It will be a draw and you can write as often as you like.

I will make the draw on...hmmm...let's say Valentine's day. Actually, I'm going to throw in a bottle of Madam Mordgidika's Chorm of the ages, too. It 's very tasty drinking chocolate and it comes with a secret scroll, a fire wand and a capsule of Flame Dust...ooooooooo!

Alrighty then! Let the contest begin!
